My Implant Journey

Dental Implants are a common treatment used to replace missing teeth and create a natural looking smile. Offering a long term, permanent solution, they are formed of three separate parts; a titanium root, an abutment, and a ceramic crown. These are all fitted in various stages, with the whole treatment taking up to 12 weeks for one dental implant.

Your dental implant journey will start with a consultation and treatment presentation. This allows our team to assess your oral health and see if there are any underlying issues that need to be treated first.

The next stages of your dental implant journey is the restorative stage. At this stage, you will have the titanium root embedded in your jaw bone and will have to let that heal for a number of weeks. Once your gums have had time to heal, your digital implant impression will be taken. A custom mold of your mouth will be created, allowing the team in our onsite laboratory to create a ceramic crown.

This is where the abutment is fitted, which connects the crown to the titanium root. Once this is in place, the digital crown construction can begin. Using innovative technologies, we can create a crown that fits comfortably in your mouth and blends in seamlessly with your natural teeth.

Once the crown has been carefully crafted, it will be fitted and your journey will be complete. If you would like more information on what Dental Implants are and how they can help restore your smile, we also have a free download guide.
