Revitalise Dental Centre Reopening After Lockdown

As a dentist reopening after lockdown, we are delighted to announce that the Revitalise Dental Centre is now fully open again. Our expert team members are all looking forward to welcoming you back.

At Revitalise, we have always prided ourselves on delivering 5-star service to each and every one of our patients. Your safety, comfort and care are our top priorities and all of our services are delivered with the high levels of professionalism and care that you have come to expect.

Because of the bespoke treatments we offer and the environment we have created, much of what we do and how we do it will remain unchanged. Our friendly team will always make you feel welcome and comfortable upon your arrival and throughout your appointments and you will still receive the very best in dental care.

Of course, the nature of COVID-19 and the guidance from our governing body has meant that, as a dentist reopening after lockdown, we have incorporated several small alterations to how we manage appointments, treatment and after-care and we are outlining those below so that you are fully informed before your visit.

We have followed the new regulations set out by the Government and Public Health England to ensure that we offer a safe environment for all our clients and staff.

We will follow all updates to the guidelines closely, making changes where necessary and will always keep you up to date.

What to expect

First and foremost we want to reassure you that nothing about the core way we deliver our treatments, services and care has changed. We have simply enhanced a few key aspects of the established Revitalise method. This will offer you increased confidence and help us to operate our dental facilities safely.

Keeping all of our staff and patients safe, and maintaining the high-quality service that you expect is our focus as a dentist reopening after lockdown. Below we have detailed what your dental appointments and treatments will look like for the foreseeable future. As always, our team are all on hand to answer any questions you have either over the phone or via email before your visit. We want you to feel as happy and comfortable visiting our beautiful centre as you did before lockdown.

Arriving at Revitalise

Our state-of-the-art, eco-friendly building is located in the beautiful countryside just outside of St Agnes on the north coast of Cornwall. Our rural location ensures that we have always been able to offer our patients a large private car park and spacious facilities. You will find that there is plenty of room for you to be able to park away from other vehicles, allowing you to adhere to the social distancing measures set out by the Government.

Our ethos has always been to make certain that all areas of our building are calm and relaxing. We are able to maintain this serene atmosphere during these difficult and uncertain times because we are situated away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre. This means that patients can enter a safe and welcoming space, designed to put them at ease from the start.

Entering the building

We already have automatic entrance doors at our centre which allow for a smooth and safe arrival for our clients and help to limit the number of surfaces you are required to touch.

Part of the Revitalise experience is being greeted on arrival by one of our helpful and welcoming team members. We want to assure you that this essential part of who we are will not change. There will, however, be a few slight differences as you arrive. The first one is that all team members will now be wearing correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in line with current guidance and this is to protect both you and them. We know that seeing more people in PPE is unusual, but we are still able to maintain the sense of calm and openness in our treatment centre.

While you are in the centre we ask that you respect the 2 metre social distancing guidelines as outlined by the Government, we will have helpful signage and markings on the floor to help you with this.

Business as usual

Appropriate PPE for dental care includes gloves, masks, visors and aprons. Because we have secured sufficient supplies of correct PPE, we are very pleased to say that all of the treatments and services we offered prior to lockdown will be available again. Cosmetic dentistry, Dental Implants, General Dentistry, Orthodontics. All treatments are now available

We are here to help you maintain your oral health and give you the smile of your dreams in a safe, professional and caring environment.

At Revitalise we have always been committed to rigorous hygiene practices and thoroughly clean our treatment rooms and equipment between patients. In light of COVID-19, our procedures have been reassessed and amplified where necessary to meet the highest possible standards. Meticulous cleaning will take place between each patient, ensuring that your health, and the health of our staff is never put at risk. All of our treatment rooms have two separate doors leading into them; one door will now be used as an entrance and the other will be the exit. We will also be staggering appointment times as much as possible. This will allow our team time to clean and reset the rooms as well as reducing the number of people you may come into contact with.

How you can help

At Revitalise, our philosophy has always been that our treatments should be patient-led. At each stage, we give you all the knowledge you need to be able to make informed decisions about your dental care.

As a dentist, reopening after this unprecedented period of lockdown, we would like to take this opportunity to share how you can help us as we continue to provide our 5-star services.

Firstly, we ask that you book any appointments over the phone, via email or by using the contact form on our website. This will help us to reduce the number of people who are in the building at any one time. When you do arrive for your appointment, we request that you limit the number of people that you bring with you. We understand that it may not be safe for you to drive yourself home after your treatment or that you may have dependents who need to come with you.

In these instances, we ask that anyone who comes with you to your appointment/s follows all of our guidance as well; sanitizing their hands and keeping to the social distancing measures put in place.

If you have an appointment booked, but you, a member of your household, or someone you have come into close contact with shows symptoms of Coronavirus, we ask that you let us know as soon as possible. This is so that we can cancel your appointment and rearrange it for at least two weeks after your self-isolation period is over. If you, a member of your household, or someone you have close contact with starts to show symptoms after your appointment, we ask that you please inform us as soon as possible so that we can alert any staff members who had contact with you.

All of the measures we have put in place protect the safety of everyone who visits and works within our centre and adhering to them means that we can continue to provide you with the service that you expect from Revitalise.

The safety of our staff and patients is paramount. Working together we can maintain everyone’s well-being, health and comfort and provide outstanding dental care.

FAQs

Can I sit in the waiting room?

If you arrive early for your appointment or are waiting to drive someone home from theirs, we will ensure that the layout of our rest spaces allow you to maintain a social distance from other patients and staff members. As always, the waiting room is available for you to relax in before your appointment if you feel comfortable doing so.

Do I have to wear a face-covering in the waiting room?

It is recommended that you wear a face-covering in situations where you are unable to keep 2 meters apart from people outside of your household. At Revitalise, we are lucky to have a large, open-plan waiting area for you to relax in, minimising the worry of coming into close contact with others.

If you would feel more comfortable wearing a face-covering whilst waiting for your appointment, then you are most welcome to do so, and we can provide these for you.

Do you still offer pre-treatment consultations?

To limit the amount of time that you have to spend in our treatment centre, we are offering all patients consultations via Zoom, FaceTime, or over the phone. You will also be able to receive your treatment plan presentation via Zoom or email. This will give you a chance to speak in detail to a member of our team about any questions or perhaps worries that you may have. They will talk you through each step of your treatment plan and help to alleviate any concerns you have.
